Berry Campbell Gallery Group Exhibition
Berry Campbell Gallery from New York is participating in Art Basel Hong Kong for the first time this year. Since its establishment in 2013, the gallery has focused on discovering Western post-war female artists and contemporary artists. The exhibition will feature works by artists including Alice Baber, Janice Biala, Bernice Bing, Lynne Drexler, Emiko Nakano, Elizabeth Osborne, and Yvonne Thomas.
The group exhibition will present paintings created in 1976 by American artist Alice Baber, who is known for her delicate expression of light, color and space. Her abstract expressionist works are colorful yet exude a sense of calm and peace. The gallery will also display important works by renowned Chinese-American painter Bernice Bing, highlighting her profound insight into and integration of Eastern philosophical traditions and postwar abstract art. This exhibition will also be held simultaneously with Lynne Drexler’s solo exhibition at White Cube Gallery in Hong Kong. Interested friends should not miss it!
