Berry Campbell presents "Modern Woman," a dedicated exhibition showcasing twenty-three works by Judith Godwin from 1954 to 1959. This display highlights Godwin’s unique Abstract Expressionist style, blending feminine and masculine elements through ethereal colors and powerful tones. Featuring works rarely seen for over sixty years, the exhibition underscores Godwin’s enduring significance. Notable pieces include "Spirit – Ode to Martha Graham" (1956) and "To Ann Barclay" (1955). Accompanied by a 96-page monograph edited by Aliza Edelman, "Modern Woman" reaffirms Godwin's place in contemporary art discussions and celebrates postwar women artists.
