Berry Campbell Presents Artists of the East End at Art Southampton

Berry Campbell is pleased to present an exhibition of Artists of the East End at Art Southampton presented at Nova’s Ark Project in Bridgehampton, opening on July 9. Berry Campbell represents an important group of Postwar modern and contemporary artists associated with Long Island’s East End, a gathering place for the New York School beginning in the 1940s. Among these are the estates of Dan Christensen, Perle Fine, Balcomb Greene, Gertrude Greene, Raymond Hendler, Charlotte Park, and Syd Solomon. Contemporary East End artists represented are Eric Dever and Susan Vecsey, both will be debuting new work at the fair.
As part of the Art Southampton VIP event series, Berry Campbell will host private tours at the studios of Eric Dever (July 10 at 10 am), Dan Christensen (July 11 at 10 am), and Susan Vecsey (July 12 at 10 am). Registration is required through Art Southampton and availability is limited.
The fair opens with a VIP preview on Thursday, July 9 benefiting the Parrish Art Museum, Water Mill. The fair opens to the public on Friday, July 10 and runs through Monday, July 13.
